Every fourth Saturday of October, Deniliquin transforms into the hub of the transport industry for a spectacular weekend. The Deniliquin Truck Show and Industry Expo brings together the finest trucks in a celebration of power, performance, and community. The main attraction? Saturday’s Truck Show Judging, where the best of the best receive top honours in various categories.

Our passionate committee works year-round to ensure each event is a resounding success. Our goal is to celebrate, honour, and memorialise the pivotal figures of our local transport industry.

Celebrating a Pillar of the Region’s Economy

The Deniliquin Truck Show & Industry Expo kicked off its first engine in September 2015 at Deniliquin’s Memorial Park, showcasing 50 trucks and 30 motorbikes while drawing around 2,000 attendees. Originally held in September, we shifted the event to late October 2019 to take advantage of better weather and to distance it from conflicting local events, enhancing both attendance and experience.

Wall of Fame: Honouring Industry Legends

From its inception, the event has featured the Deniliquin & District Transport Industry Wall of Fame, honouring over 25 notable industry figures to date. The Wall of Fame dinner is a gala event held on the eve of the Truck Show, providing a night of recognition and celebration at the Deniliquin RSL Club.

In 2017, the event expanded to include a Sunday memorial wall induction service and a special monument at the north Deniliquin truck stop to honour both Wall of Fame inductees and memorialized industry members.

A Growing Tradition

The event’s format, spanning three days, has proven successful, with the only interruptions being the pandemic and floods, which have done little to dampen our spirit. In 2023, we formed a partnership with the Rotary Club of Deniliquin, enhancing the community impact of the event. In 2024, we are excited to relocate to the Deniliquin Festival Site, renowned for hosting the Deniliquin Ute Muster, which will allow us to accommodate more attendees and provide an even richer experience.
